Plot Summary

Rajlakshmi invites Binodini to stay with her in Kolkata, hoping to create a rift between Mahendra and Ashalata. Binodini befriends Ashalata, who is naive and trusting. She also meets Mahendra and Behari, and feels attracted to both of them. She starts to manipulate them with her charm and intelligence, creating misunderstandings and jealousy among them.
